Professional Female Photographer

Hi, I'm Siorna
I’m a professional female photographer, specialising in boudoir photography that’s empowering, emotionally intelligent, and artfully styled.
My work is especially for people who don’t always feel at ease in front of the camera and together, we create portraits that feel like the best version of you.
Alongside boudoir, I also photograph headshots and maternity portraits, bringing the same thoughtful, confidence-building approach to every session.
Wondering how to feel confident in front of the camera?

Many of my clients arrive saying they’ve never liked being photographed. Some are nervous. Some are rebuilding confidence. Some simply want the best picture of themselves ever taken.
I’ve created a space where you can feel comfortable, safe, and quietly powerful, whether we’re capturing bold boudoir portraits, professional headshots, or maternity images.

Why work with a Female Photographer?
As someone who’s struggled with body image, I understand how vulnerable it can feel to step in front of the lens.
I bring empathy, experience, and technical skill. With lighting, posing, and connection to create portraits that feel like you, on your very best day.
Award-Winning Photography

In 2025, I received the Client Service Excellence Award at the Greater London Enterprise Awards, recognising me as one of London’s leading photographers for client care.
This award highlights my commitment to creating empowering, respectful, and artfully styled portraits that put you at the centre.
From Museums to Photography

Before becoming a professional photographer, I studied Ancient History at Durham with a Masters in Museum Studies, later working at a number of Museums including the British Museum.
That time spent surrounded by art, artefacts, and cultural stories still shapes my photography today.
From Renaissance-inspired portraits to my focus on ethics and representation, my work is influenced by years of learning how images and objects carry meaning. It’s this blend of art and empathy that underpins every session I create.
Teaching Photography
Alongside my studio work, I also teach, bringing the same values of artistic sensitivity, consent, and confidence-building into the classroom.
At City Academy, I lead the Art Nude Photography Course, where students explore the ethics and artistry of photographing the human form.
We touch on the history of the nude, respect, storytelling, and creating images with emotional depth.

Clients say
"I immediately felt at ease with her."

“I found Siorna to be the loveliest person. I immediately felt at ease with her, even in the lead-up to the shoot itself. The day itself was the most fun I’ve had in a long time, and I surprised myself with how relaxed I felt in front of the camera.”

A Little About Me Beyond Photography

Outside the studio, I’m always exploring. I’m learning Japanese (slowly but surely!), and I love how language opens up new ways of seeing the world.
Music videos and photoshoots inspire me, especially BTS. Their message of self-love, paired with the emotional honesty and visual power of their storytelling, reminds me how photography can move people and carry meaning.
I also love to travel and rarely put my camera down. Landscapes, architecture, and street photography keep my eye sharp and that perspective often finds its way back into my studio work.
