Hi, I’m Siorna your London maternity photographer.
If you’re like me and many of the clients I work with, then showing your body in front of the camera does not come naturally.
I understand the feelings of vulnerability that can accompany this kind of intimate photography.
I prioritise comfort and create a warm and inviting atmosphere in my private studio.
I will help you (and your partner) feel confident with comfortable poses. I will shape your body with artistic studio light, ensuring you feel confident and beautiful throughout the session.

Discovery Call
Email me, or book a 10-minute video discovery call. You get to meet me, ask questions before you make any decisions.

Book
Secure your booking and date! Let’s get you on the calendar! I send you your preparation guide and also set a little bit of homework! It’s fun. I promise!

Style Consult
We review the mood, wardrobe and styling so you know what to expect and what to bring on the day.

Maternity Experience
Your day is here! Enjoy a glass (or two!) of sparkling elderflower or peppermint tea, a private changing area and your favourite music. Hair and makeup are available on request for the full pamper treatment.

The Reveal
Within two weeks, choose your maternity collection! We’ll review around 20 stunning photos together on Zoom. Once selected, I’ll handle the editing and formatting for each chosen image.

Special Delivery
They’re here! Your digital collection will arrive via a private online gallery.
Your printed memories take a little longer but are well worth waiting for. They have a 14-day turnaround at the printing lab.

Frequently Asked Questions
A: Maternity photoshoots typically take place around 28-36 weeks. At this stage, your belly is beautifully round and your pregnancy glow is at its peak.
I’d also add that you should consider how pronounced you want your belly to be in the photos.
If you want a larger belly, you might opt for a shoot closer to the end of the third trimester.
However, some women prefer to have their photos taken earlier in the third trimester when they’re still mobile and energetic, while others enjoy the fuller, more prominent belly of the later weeks.
A: Absolutely. I frequently photograph couples for maternity. We capture you individually and as a couple.
A: Morning sickness is the worst! I am so sorry! I do request 24 hours notice before you reschedule your photoshoot. This is because I spend time on the day preparing the studio for your tailored looks. If you are feeling unwell, please do get in touch as soon as possible. You get one rescheduled photoshoot absolutely free.
A: Unfortunately, at the present time, I am unable to accommodate children under 14.
A: Yes! I work with fabulously talented hair and makeup artists. They specialise in editorial, and bridal make-up. No matter your skin tone, gender or ethnicity, my team will always make you feel and look fabulous. Hair and makeup can be added to your package after you book. or select the Diamond Package for the full pamper treatment.
A: Yes! I love to and this is a special part that will make your experience tailored to you. On the style consult we’ll talk lingerie, oversized shirts, blazers, silks and bedsheets. You’ll know exactly what to bring and what pieces I have at the studio.
A: Absolutely! Making sure you feel comfortable and supported is very important to me. I have 2 requests. The 1st is they are your cheerleader and support you during this very special occasion. The 2nd is that you trust that I can see angles with my camera your loved one might not see from their position in the studio. I’ve got you.
A: What an amazing experience to gift someone! You can purchase a whole package, or contribute towards an experience for your special someone.
A: My calander is usually booked 2 months in advance. If you’re thinking about booking a photoshoot it’s best to get in touch straight away.
A: Every maternity experience is tailored to you. We dive into the posing, colours, moods and lighting you feel connected to. I ask you to pick a few photographs that inspire you. Using these we talk about your style on a video call. We’ll choose wardrobe pieces and set design together. You’ll know exactly what to expect and what to bring for your day!
A: The experience lasts about 1.5 hours. Your maternity photoshoot is not rushed and we go at your pace and comfort. There are as many bathroom breaks and rests as you need. Add an additional hour if you’ve selected to be pampered with hair and makeup.
A: It’s private. It’s you and me. We are not overlooked. The studio is a safe place for you to relax and connect with yourself. I have a female team of hair and makeup artists should you choose to include this in your package.
A: Most of my clients enjoy selecting their final collection via video call within 2 weeks. We walk through the best 25-30 photographs together. It’s an opportunity to discuss retouching anything you’re self-conscious about. Remember, we all have our unique experiences with our bodies – I’m here to make you look and feel your best!
A: I do edit your photographs. My approach to editing your body is always a conversation so that I can respect your wishes. We discuss anything you’re self-conscious about during the shoot and again when you select your photographs. Remember, we all have our unique experiences with our bodies – I’m here to make you look and feel your best! My editing style focuses on you on your best day.
These are the things that I will usually edit:
- Light levels
- Correct skin tone colour
- Correct makeup
- Remove stray hairs
- Neaten and smooth clothing
- Change to black and white
Unless you ask me otherwise, I will also remove the following:
- Bruises
- Spots
I leave moles and scars unless you tell me otherwise.
The top 5 things I most frequently get asked to tweak are:
- Add volume to my hair
- Slim my arms
- Slim my waist
- Smooth my skin
- Reduce or remove my wrinkle lines

A: Purchasing an album is completely optional. It can be a unique way to tell the story of your maternity experience. It allows to you easily refer back to this special moment and to see your incredible self printed using state-of-the-art printing techniques that preserve the rich colours and exquisite details of your images for years to come.
A: Of course! You have personal printing rights for the images you purchase and can print those files on your own. Prints come in many sizes, so let me know if you’ll be doing this and I can help get your photos right! I also offer a maternity album as part of the Enchanted package.
A: Absolutely! You decide how many extra photographs you want in your collection after you’ve seen them.
A: Not without consent. I take your privacy very seriously. All the images you see on my website or social media have the expressed written permission of the client. Some of my clients like to share their images to inspire and empower others to do a maternity photoshoot session as well, others save the images for themselves. Whatever you decide, I will honour your decision!
After 3 months, I delete photographs you did not purchase from my hard drives and backup services. I will send an email before I delete anything forever!
I store the photographs you did purchase indefinitely in case you need additional copies.
