Real sessions, real briefs
A few real sessions, each with a different brief, including colour gels and more graphic lighting.

The Film Director
Look: Cinematic & Moody
For a short film director, we created a series of moody portraits inspired by Smoke.
-
Goal: press portraits + poster image
-
Result: 2 looks, one session
The images needed to reflect the cinematic feel of his work, atmospheric, character-driven, and just a little mysterious.
The Musician
Look: Bold Colour / Graphic Light
A musician needed a full range of photos, for an album cover, press and hero images for a few key singles.
We created different looks to match each need, ensuring every shot had its own vibe.
This was a creative portraits experience, with editorial lighting and multiple looks designed to tell her story.
The Jewellery Designer
Light: 90's Retro
A jewellery designer wanted portraits that were both professional for her website and true to her style.
We explored a 90s vintage look with relaxed, natural poses, giving her portraits that highlighted her creativity as well as her craft.
The Voice Actor
Look: Colour Gels / Neo-noir
A voice actor needed a set of creative portraits that could flex across casting briefs, from warm, approachable reads to darker, more intense character work.
We built the session around distinct “characters”, using colour as storytelling: bold gels, cinematic contrast, and a clean, graphic finish that still feels like him, just in different registers.
The vibe here: cinematic, teal-and-amber, slightly futuristic / neo-noir.

The Personal
Look: Rembrandt Painterly Light
Another client wanted portraits simply to feel good about themselves.
We created a series in a painterly, “old world” style, timeless, textured images that carried both softness and strength.

With a relaxed approach and gentle guidance on posing and lighting, I’ll help you discover a look that feels true to you.
Most people leave surprised at just how natural the experience feels and how photogenic they really are.
