These Website & Booking Terms set out how this website may be used and the general terms that apply when booking or purchasing services from Siorna Photography.

For booked photoshoots, these terms operate alongside the Privacy Policy and the relevant Session Agreement (personal-use, commercial, or model), which together form the contractual relationship and take precedence where applicable.

Website use and copyright

All photographs displayed on www.siornaphotography.com are the property of Siorna Photography. Copyright in all images is owned by Siorna Photography in accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.

Images on this website and blog are displayed for demonstration purposes only. Images may not be copied, downloaded, shared, reproduced, altered, or used to create derivative works by any means without the express written permission of Siorna Photography.

Artificial Intelligence

All images © Siorna Photography.
No permission is granted for dataset creation, model training, machine learning, or generative AI use. Any such use is explicitly prohibited.

Personal information and privacy

Any personal information submitted via this website, email, phone, or online store is handled in accordance with Siorna Photography’s Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how personal data and images are collected, stored, processed, and protected, as well as your rights under data protection legislation.

Booking and session agreements

Different agreements apply depending on the nature of the session. Personal-use clients, commercial clients, and models are each provided with the appropriate agreement outlining consent, usage rights, and permissions relevant to their booking.

When you book a photoshoot, you will be asked to review and sign the relevant Session Agreement, which sets out important terms relating to consent, image use, privacy, and session conduct. Where applicable, the Session Agreement takes precedence over these Website & Booking Terms.

Digital files and usage rights

Different agreements apply depending on the nature of the session. Personal-use clients, commercial clients, and models are each provided with the appropriate agreement outlining consent, usage rights, and permissions relevant to their booking.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, clients receive digital images for personal use only. A non-exclusive, non-transferable licence is granted for personal viewing, printing, and private sharing.

Images may not be used for commercial purposes, publication, advertising, resale, or licensing unless covered by a separate written agreement, such as a commercial usage licence or model release issued by Siorna Photography.

Image editing, alteration, or AI-based modification by clients or third parties is not permitted unless explicitly agreed in writing.

Full details of image usage, copyright, consent, and permitted use are set out in the applicable agreement provided at the time of booking.

Image delivery and selection

Digital images are delivered via a secure online gallery service.

Image selection methods, including preview galleries, contact sheets, and any video consultations, are handled in line with the Privacy Policy, which explains how temporary files, viewing sessions, and third-party platforms are used.

Gift vouchers

When purchasing a gift voucher, the following terms apply:

  • Session dates and details are agreed directly with Siorna Photography

  • Sessions take place at Siorna Photography’s studio unless otherwise stated

  • Vouchers are delivered by post or email

  • Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated

  • Vouchers may only be redeemed for services or products provided by Siorna Photography

  • Vouchers may not be exchanged for cash

  • Vouchers may not be resold or transferred without written consent

Siorna Photography reserves the right to deactivate gift vouchers where fraud is reasonably suspected. Clients will be informed and may be asked to assist in resolving the issue.

Printing and products

Printed products, albums, and collections are produced through trusted professional printing laboratories.

Due to the bespoke nature of photographic products, orders for prints or albums cannot be cancelled once production has begun.

Delivery of printed products is via postal services unless studio collection is arranged.

Cancellations and rescheduling

If you need to reschedule a photoshoot, at least 2 days’ notice is required. Where insufficient notice is given, a cancellation charge equivalent to half of the session booking fee may apply.

Where notice is provided, Siorna Photography will always aim to offer rescheduling and will handle cancellations reasonably and fairly.

Specific circumstances, such as maternity-related illness, may be accommodated with additional flexibility and will be handled with care.

Refunds

Photography session fees are non-refundable once the photoshoot has taken place, due to the bespoke and personalised nature of the service.

If a refund is requested prior to the photoshoot, payment processing fees charged by card providers will be deducted from the refunded amount.

Printed photographic products are non-refundable once collected or delivered, except in cases of manufacturing fault. Any such issues must be reported in writing within 14 days of receipt.

Changes to these terms

Siorna Photography reserves the right to update or amend these Website & Booking Terms at any time. The most current version will always be available on the website.
